[LOCKED to Faculty]

It appears I complained entirely too soon about the choice of attire. Well, it's either laughing or crying, isn't it

What can they possibly want from us? I do not understand the point.

[Locked to Miss Benita Raine]

Dear, I heard you were in Hell. I hope you're quite all right, and unhurt. What is the status on your abilities?

Do stay safe, dear.

[Locked to Mr. S. Charles James]

Mr. James, I hope this finds you well! I confess that looking through the posts gives me as much a headache as ever, so I could not find any reference to your location and well-being. Please reassure me that you are, indeed, well.

[Locked to Miss Tabitha Bradley]

Dearest, are you quite well? I saw some mention of mobsters, and I am rather concerned! Do keep safe, please.

[Locked to Renfield]

Hotly. Hotchpotch?

[(I'm) hurt. Are you hurt?]

In light of recent tensions within the student body, it is perhaps prudent to put forth a reminder of the resources available to students should they find themselves in need of a mediator or sympathetic ear. Of course, faculty Resident Assistants are always available for this purpose, but the Academy is also pleased to introduce our new counselor: Emputron-3000.

Emputron-3000 can be found in Counselor Bob's previous office space. The services provided by Emputron-3000 are available 24/7. Please do not hesitate to take advantage.

Status update:

14/15 anachronometers calibrated; space-time mapping near completion
Newtonian coefficent gear expanded
Engine repaired
Generator at the ready

Mr. Renfield, we have determined that no effort on your part re: Caerus II is necessary.

Miss Raine is expending all her efforts to find the group in the Cretaceous; reports of the asteroid make this both easier and more urgent. The minute she returns with coordinates, so will the rest of you.

Those of you in dire circumstances, do not despair. We are so close to getting you home.

[OOC: We are assuming that everyone has been able to report in re: time and location, so that Benita has been able to go there and confirm for the map & calibration of the anachronometers - the exception, of course, being DinoLand. We're also assuming that location has been narrowed down by students' description of the area.]

My dear students and colleagues;

I hope you are safe and well. I realize that many of you are understandably incensed with me at the present time, and I do not presume to encourage you to feel otherwise. The incident that lead to our current predicament is unprecedented, and myself and many others are working non-stop to rectify the situation. Please rest assured that this will happen.

The Caerus seems to be in need of only minor repairs in order to act as a conduit to bring you all home.

As such, the real task lies in replicating the temporal vortex, and furthermore, building and calibrating anachronometers to your various locations in time and space.

Thus far we have determined the following times and locations:

VICKSBURG, MISSISSIPPI 1863
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS 1925
PARIS, FRANCE 1944
ROME 46 BC
SALEM, MASSACHUSETTS 1692

BAGHDAD, 700 - 1000?
CRETACEOUS ERA?
CENTRAL AMERICA, MAYAN TERRITORY?
AMERICAN WEST
LONDON, ENGLAND 16??
TROY, 118? BC
EGYPT, post 1280 BC
CAMELOT?
UNKNOWN, December 3036 AD
JAPAN, ???

Please inform I or Mr. James the younger of any changes in knowledge. Clearly, an exact date will be impossible for some of you to determine. In this regard, we are immensely fortunate to have Miss Raine remaining with us. Miss Raine is capable of traveling through time via astral projection; hopefully you will all see her soon, if you have not already.

To those of you in Troy: please inform Mr. Renfield that I would like to speak to him. Any of you willing to facilitate this will be in my debt.

Rest assured that your parents have been informed, and are kept updated as well as they can be by your peers, and remaining staff at the Academy. I and several of my colleagues, and your own peers, are working tirelessly until we figure this out. Unfortunately, this will take time. Until then:

STAY TOGETHER
LET YOUR PRESENT-DAY PEERS ADVISE YOU ON DRESS, MANNER, CONDUCT, TERRAIN &c. IF YOU ARE UNAWARE
BE SAFE
GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL

Very Truly Yours, Now More Than Ever,
Patience Lethbridge

Please be advised that any comments to this post will most likely be attended to by Mr. James.

Subject: POST THE FIRST; AN ANNOUNCEMENT
Security: Public

To my esteemed colleagues and the dazzlingly bright pupils of this Academy!:

It brings me great pleasure to announce that on FRIDAY, MAY THE FIRST, at three o'clock in the afternoon I will be presenting THE CAERUS in the central quadrant of campus.

After years and months of work, The Caerus is at last ready to sail the rifts of time and space once more! This accomplishment could not have achieved without the genius of my colleagues, friends, and students, to whom I am eternally grateful. In my mind, Neopolis Academy has more than proved its worth for bringing so many bright minds together.

I hope that a good number of you will grace us with your presence on Friday; exams will be finished, and I do believe an excursion back to my hometime will be sufficiently interesting to give you something to talk about during your celebrations, and when you travel home.

Sincerely Yours,
Dean Patience Lethbridge
The Clockwork Queen
